This story talks about an unethical act of Akbar's court. The story is narrated by a minister who had been away from Delhi. So the minister who was present with Akbar at that time, Birbal, takes on the role of narrator and tells us what happened at that time. The protagonist in this story is a Moroccan scientist named Yusuf Bin Abdullah Al-Sinawi who was captured by the king after being warned not to enter India again. He tries to scare him with an old wives’ tale of Putni but Beni will not reveal anything so Yusuf proceeds to torture him until he offers some information. Yusuf Bin Abdullah Al-Sinawi was a Moroccan scientist who studies Putni. Putni is an ancient Indian concept of a bird which can be used as a weapon. The king warned him not to enter India again but he escorts himself into the kingdom with a clever disguise. He succeeds in getting into the palace and sees the king. He tries to convince Akbar that Putni is real and can be used as a weapon for his army, but Akbar does not believe him and says that Putni can not exist because it is against God's will, so Al-Sinawi begins to tell him the story of how he came to know about this information. One day in his village, Al-Sinawi's father was working in the field when he heard a strange whimpering sound. He went towards the sound and found a tiny bird. The whimpering was coming from this animal. This bird had fallen in a pot of milk which the family was going to drink later that night. As it fell, its wing was hurt severely and it could not fly away. Al-Sinawi's father saved the bird by cutting its wing off and nursed it back to health by feeding it milk with an eye dropper. Once the bird was strong enough, he let it go free after which it flew away. While searching for its parents, the bird came across a snake that was coiled to strike at a rat. As soon as it saw this, the bird swooped down on the snake and killed it. The bird then felt proud of itself for being brave enough to kill the snake which had killed many other animals. It visited its mother and told her about what had happened. After hearing what happened, its mother explained to it that Putni is not an ordinary bird but rather an exceptional one which keeps away all bad things from this world. Putni is also the name of the king of Putni's village who built it to protect its inhabitants from bad things. One day, while Al-Sinawi was looking for food outside his house, he saw a hungry tiger stalking a deer. He then heard some noise behind him. When he turned around, he found out that it was a man who was trying to steal his village's Putni. The bird chased the man away by swooping down on him and attacking him with its sharp right wing. This annoyed the man so much that he decided not to kill the bird instead he asked the bird what its name was and call himself "Yusuf Bin Abdullah Al-Sinawi". cfa1e77820
